A Heart Attack and a Dream
Reiki Moon Crystals is a mother/daughter team. It is a division of Perfect Scents, LLC. I'm Selina, the mom. My daughter is Alex. We lived in Knoxville, TN, and had a pretty good life. I was successful and happy working in the healthcare industry and had no plans for that to change. Then life happened.
One of my older sisters had rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and scleroderma since she was a teenager. Her condition worsened, and she began to need full 24/7 care. My 87 year old mother decided she was going to care for her, so my sister moved in with her in Birmingham, AL. That just wasn't going to be a good situation at all, so my daughter and I decided to move in with my mom temporarily to help out.
On January 5th, 2021, my daughter and I were packing up the house to move. I bent over, picked up a box, and immediately felt weak and dizzy. I started sweating profusely all over my body. My legs, arms, stomach, everything was sweating. I also had a horrible squeezing pain in my throat and chest. I dropped to the floor and knew I was in trouble. The only one there with me was my 13 year old daughter, and I am so thankful she was there. I opened my mouth to talk and could barely get the words out to tell her to call 911. It took so much effort to even speak. I realized I was having a heart attack!
I almost didn't make it. I remember the EMT saying that I was turning gray. They got me to the hospital and found the blockage. The vessel was 100% blocked. They put in a stent, and immediately, all the pain ceased. Needless to say, a heart attack was not part of my big plan to move and help my mom! What now?!!!
When it was time for me to be discharged from the hospital, my other sister and one of my brothers loaded up and came to get me and Alex. A couple of months of recovery passed, and then my sweet sister passed away, but at least we got to spend her last few months with her. My mother mentioned she couldn't bear for us to move out and get our own place after just losing a child, so we decided to just stay with my mom.
Now, I was out of money and needed income. I didn't want to return to corporate America because of the stress and my heart condition, so I decided to rebuild my and my daughter's life with my love for crystals and jewelry. So here we are!
That was the backstory. Now let me tell you about our shop! I am a Reiki Master and cleanse and charge all the crystals we sell because I want to be sure you receive crystals with no "bad juju"! In our shop, you will find an eclectic mix of products. I don't sell things that I don't like myself. I tend to like the obscure and hard to find things. My taste is pretty contradictory. I like pretty and "blingy," but I also like gnarly and raw. I'm a typical Scorpio. I love horror movies, fantasy, art, gothic, macabre, skulls, dragons, etc. I am also a Christian, so I love Jesus! You'll find vampire skulls and bats, but you'll also find carvings of angels and Jesus! Rest assured, each piece is hand-picked and loved.
I want to add how much I love reading your reviews. They truly warm my heart and lift me up! I read each and every one of them. My goal is for you to love your purchase, not just like it. I want the energy I charge your crystals with to heal you physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. More than anything though, my prayer is for you to grow closer in your personal relationship with God.
